Meet the Management
You'll find us at the Four Corners in Webster in the former HSBC bank building which the agency purchased in 2003. Today's agency is managed by two sons of founder Gerard P. Smith who left a major insurance carrier in 1966 and set up a desk and telephone in the family room of his home in the Village. Tom joined the firm in 1977 as a sales agent . He became president in 1993 when his dad retired. His brother, Kevin, was appointed vice president.
Both are life-long residents of Webster, accomplished insurance agents and counselors. Along with an outstanding staff, we have carried on a business that's committed to the very highest level of service. Over the past 40 years the Smith agency has become one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the region.
